DCC Expands Public Safety Leadership Role in Florida
Orlando, FL – DCC (Dialogic Communications Corporation), the nation’s leading provider of high-speed notification technology, has named Leslie Cain as Public Safety Territory Manager in Florida. Based in Orlando, Cain will be responsible for managing relationships of DCC’s local and state government customers throughout the state.
“We have a valuable customer base in Florida, and we want to ensure that we are fully meeting their needs,” said Rick Wimberly, Director of Homeland Security/Public Safety for DCC. “Ms. Cain will greatly improve the support we are able to provide our public safety clients, while also increasing DCC’s capabilities across the state. We are confident that she will make an immediate and lasting impact.”
Cain will serve as a resource for addressing critical communication issues such as multi-jurisdictional projects, securing Homeland Security grant money and supporting Amber Alert programs. She will also be responsible for introducing public safety organizations to a host of new product developments and innovations, including:
• Enhanced web capabilities for both community and responder notifications
• A more robust, and feature-rich hosting center for performing notifications from DCC-managed calling centers
• Improved GIS notification products using more ESRI technology
• Public Safety Plus, a collection of user kits and best practices specifically for local and state government customers
• A browser-based interface that integrates easily with other technologies
Cain, a native of Franklin, Tenn., has been with DCC for three-and-a-half years, working in progressive roles within the company. Previously, she spent 16 years in the automotive industry. Cain graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, with a major in economics and a double minor in business and finance.
