DCC Innovations Continue with Release of Enhanced Web-Based Notification Solution

The Communicator! for the Web Marks Latest Evolution in Industry Leader’s High Speed Notification Technology

Franklin, Tennessee – DCC (Dialogic Communications Corporation), the nation's leading high-speed notification provider, has further strengthened the capabilities of its advanced message delivery software, The Communicator!, by advancing its secure, 24/7 access to the technology online.

Through an Internet connection and any web browser, users can now activate DCC’s powerful and secure hosting service, to contact hundreds, or even thousands, of individuals within minutes, delivering critical information with unprecedented speed and accuracy.

“Over the past few years, tragedies such as 9/11 have served as clear examples of what can happen to critical infrastructure during an emergency situation,” said Gene Kirby, president and chairman of DCC. “The key is to be flexible and mobile. Having the ability to launch a mass notification from any location in the world is a real advantage during a crisis.”

The Communicator! is high-speed notification software that provides fast and accurate communication via virtually all media (phone, pager, fax, email, etc.) in routine and emergency situations, such as inclement weather, evacuations, corporate contingencies, missing persons and terrorist threats.

The new release of the web-based version, called The Communicator! for the Web, makes the technology’s functionality readily available around-the-clock with no installation of software. Users can log in from any location to modify data, record messages or activate call-out scenarios. They can also view or print reports from the web browser or through email in real time.

The Communicator! for the Web is the latest in a string of technological advancements in recent years for DCC. Earlier in 2003, DCC introduced its new geographical mapping software, GeoCast, which enables users to selectively alert thousands of individuals, based on location, during a crisis or mission-critical situation.
