Pendleton County DES Furthers Commitment to Crisis Management with DCC Technology

- Division of Disaster and Emergency Services Enlists the Global Leader in Critical Communications Technology to Establish Emergency Notification Network -

Falmouth , Kentucky – Pendleton County’s Division of Disaster and Emergency Services has selected DCC (Dialogic Communications Corporation) – the global leader in critical communications technology – as its emergency notification provider.

The Division of Disaster and Emergency Services (DES) will employ DCC’s progressive emergency notification technology and mapping software to instantly alert key audiences, including first responders and residents, during crisis situations in the Pendleton County region. The Communicator! and GeoCast will be installed on September 14 th, bringing DCC’s communication solutions to Northern Kentucky.

Pendleton County will utilize The Communicator! toautomate manual notification processes and alert key audiencesthrough all available communications media (e.g., phone, pager, email, etc.). The industry-leading system delivers event-specific information and/or potentially life-saving instruction to an unlimited number of contacts in a matter of seconds, ensuring rapid, accurate communication for virtually any public safety threat.

GeoCast , DCC’s mapping software, works in conjunction with The Communicator! to enable public safety organizations to selectively target and notify individuals, based on location, during an emergency situation.
