DCC Achieves Prestigious ISO
9001:2000 Certification for Commitment to Quality
International Certification Awarded to DCC, Confirms Products
and Services Exceed Industry Best Practices

DCC

international recognition for its commitment to delivering the
highest quality products and services. The company achieved
ISO 9001:2000 certification, a distinguished rating creating
created by the International Organization for Standardization
(ISO)—a non-governmental body that sets standards in the
public and private sectors.
This
certification is awarded to companies that meet or exceed best
practices within their industry. For DCC, the scope of the
registration included the design, development, distribution,
integration, service and customer training of critical
communications technology for emergency notification, call
center automation, corporate messaging and hosting services.

evaluated and awarded the ISO certification by NSF
International, an independent, non-profit, third-party
auditor. NSF specializes in assessing quality management
systems for environmental, health and safety organizations.
For
several months, NSF’s team of auditors rigorously analyzed the
processes and procedures of DCC. To determine the company’s
eligibility, they evaluated DCC on eight quality management
principles: customer focus, leadership, involvement of people,
process approach, system approach to management, continual
improvement, fact-based decision-making and mutually
beneficial supplier relationships. In the end, these
principles were determined to enhance organizational
performance, enabling DCC (like its parent company, PlantCML),
to receive the esteemed ISO 9001:2000 certification.
