Industry Leaders Work Together to Expand Crisis Communications Capabilities, Improve Public Safety and Private Protection Measures

FRANKLIN, TN – DCC (Dialogic Communications Corp.), a PlantCML® company and global leader in emergency notification technology, today announced the signing of its representative agreement with Code Blue® Corporation, a distinguished provider of interactive voice security systems, to offer amalgamated solutions and services for crisis communications. This association will combine methodologies for alerting people in both public and private safety environments, helping protect their well-being in urgent situations.

Code Blue offerings include highly durable emergency phones/speaker systems which are strategically placed throughout such environments as college campuses, city parks, shopping malls, parking garages and business properties. These units integrate interactive voice and other common security technologies (e.g., strobe lights) to provide both audible and visible alerts. They also serve as an easily identifiable means for security personnel, law enforcement and officials when verifying and responding to an emergency.

DCC’s flagship solution, The Communicator!® NXT, is a powerful, list-driven emergency notification solution proven to provide rapid, multi-modal communication in all types of contingencies. The application automatically disperses voice and text messages using every possible means (phone, BlackBerry®, fax, email, etc.) to deliver incident-related information or potentially life-saving instruction. It also gathers important feedback from recipients, ensuring message receipt and confirming the actions they will take. The addition of GeoCast® Web enables quick and easy notification of specific geographic areas using digital, street-level maps.

Together, DCC’s emergency notification technology and Code Blue’s interactive voice security systems will create a comprehensive emergency notification package and provide users tactical critical communications capabilities. Upon activation, The Communicator!® NXT will initiate mass notification using Code Blue’s emergency phones/speaker systems. Messages will advise communities of all types of potential risks, including criminal activity, inclement weather and building closures.

The representative agreement between Code Blue and DCC will enable coordinated marketing and sales efforts in a number of key markets, including higher education and retail. Plans to increase product awareness will involve mutual sponsorship of comprehensive webinars, as well as the addition of several highly-focused trade shows and conferences throughout the course of 2009.
